OUR TEAM

Kelly Cornell, DC

Owner-Founder / Chiropractor

About Dr. Cornell,

Dr. Cornell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College before going on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2012. During her clinical experience, she learned and utilized many different chiropractic techniques, including Activator, Flexion-Distraction, and Diversified adjusting. Dr. Cornell also has experience in different muscle, ligament, and soft tissue techniques, such as Graston and myofascial release, and likes to incorporate rehabilitation into the patient’s care. Dr. Cornell’s clinical experience includes many different settings such as private practice health centers, outpatient clinics, chronic health care facilities, and in a hospital setting. Since starting her professional career, Dr. Cornell has worked with many patients in the local community including pregnant and postpartum women, pediatrics, and professional athletes competing in the NHL, NFL, and MLB.

Dr. Cornell has a passion for chiropractic and helping others. She utilizes an evidence-based approach, and likes to look at the patient as a whole to discover the cause of the patient’s complaint, rather than simply treating the symptoms. A chiropractic patient herself since the age of ten, Dr. Cornell knows the importance of high-quality care and how beneficial chiropractic can be for a variety of musculoskeletal complaints. As a runner and former track coach, Dr. Cornell understands the demands of competitive sports and the importance of injury prevention and maintenance.
